Baby Quasar MD is the bigger version of the popular Baby Quasar MD, advertised as 3 times more powerful than his little brother. Is bigger really better? Well this review is going to be shorter than others, as you and most people want to know the winner in the Baby Quasar MD vs Baby Quasar Red match.
Let’s get straight to the truth about Baby Quasar MD. We asked the question directly to the company, and their answer is in the following lines. So read on…

Baby Quasar MD Review
Let’s be honest, features and benefits are almost the same, so details on the MD device and how to use it are explained in our Baby Quasar review. Indeed, they share the same technology. So how is it different, and more powerful?
Isn’t it just another red light therapy device, priced higher? You’re right, it has the red, amber and infrared LEDs in his head, using the SequePulse feature to pulse four wavelenghts of light.
All of this is aimed at delivering an effective and safe skin rejuvenation treatment by stimulating the natural skin healing process.Wrinkles and fine lines are reduced, skin tone improves… by now you certainly know the great benefits of red light therapy.
The head is bigger. The LEDs are larger. You can thus cover and treat a larger area of your skin. And while the recommended treatment frequency is 3 to 4 times a week with Baby Quasar Red, you just need a once per week session with the Baby Quasar MD. Some people will want or need only second weekly treatment.
The major difference is that using Baby Quasar MD cuts down the treatment time. Not just the frequency of use as we just mentioned earlier, but also how long last a session. While the full face treatment with the original device may take about 30 minutes or more, a session with the MD will just require about 20 minutes. And again these professional spa quality results are all natural.
Again these are rough numbers because skin people vary and you may not need to spend all your time on a certain area of your skin if it doesn’t need it. Some areas may need more time too.
- Saves time: only 1 treatment per week (max 2), about 20 minutes.
- Advanced technology, same used in original device (pulsed light, 4 wavelenght of lights)
- Red, amber and infrared light therapy
- Solid, sturdy device
- 5 year warranty
- The price! $795
Baby Quasar said…
As we told you at the beginning of this review, we asked directly the Baby Quasar MD vs Baby Quasar Red difference question to the company customer support and we got the following answer:
The Baby Quasar and the Quasar MD use the same 4 wavelengths of light. The only major difference between the two is that the MD is a larger more powerful device, and as such, cuts treatment time down from 3 times per week to just once per week. It won’t provide you with “better” results, it just simply requires you to treat less often. We offer a 5 year warranty on all of our devices.
So now, you know.
Baby Quasar MD vs Baby Quasar
The other question that needs to be answered is: is it worth the price? Only you know the answer:
- Is cutting down the treatment time from three times to once a week is worth the extra money FOR YOU?
- Is getting faster results by using a device for less time is worth the extra money, FOR YOU?
Here the difference is almost double ($795 vs $399). You may have already read Baby Quasar reviews, and it’s considered the best in its category by many professionals too. Baby Quasar MD will get you results faster, and you just need to know if you can afford it.
If you can, then we recommend you buy Baby Quasar MD. Otherwise, go for the original Baby Quasar device, you will need a little more patience ;).

“…After the second usage of baby quasar MD, I could see a prominent result in terms of the diminishing wrinkles and shrinkage of pores […]Baby quasar gives my skin a very polished and glowing look which I could not achieve with any kind of pricy skin products so far.
